Abstract
The company washes and rinses wool with recycling of the rinse water and treatment of wash water permitting the recovery of suint and fertilizer and the elimination of all aqueous wastes. Beaten wool is washed and rinsed in successive vats with running water and is then dried. In the low pollution process, the rinse water is recycled; as opposed it being discharged into the sewage system. The wash water, after having been centrifuged in the standard process in order to separate the suint, is gradually dried off. Various intermediate by-products are incinerated in a chamber providing the necessary steam for the water treatment phase.
