Abstract

The report is concerned with the need for and value of storage in the proposed Slim Butte Reservoir to satisfy the 50- and 100-year prospective needs for municipal and industrial water supply and water quality control in the White River Basin. Special consideration has been given to Dawes County, Nebraska, and Shannon County, South Dakota, since the largest demands for water from the proposed projects are expected to occur in these counties.
