| Abstract |
A limited preliminary study was undertaken of the emission of products of wear from automobile tires. The compromise experiment used real tires at typical loads, real pavements, speeds, and ambient conditions. Volatile and particulate samples were collected and analyzed. Results and suggestions concerning future studies are provided. |
