Abstract
The National Water Program at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency released the National Water Program 2012 Strategy: Response to Climate Change (2012 Strategy) in December 2012 as an update to an initial climate change and water strategy released in 2008. The 2012 Strategy describes long-term goals for the management of sustainable water resources for future generations in light of climate change and is intended to be a roadmap to guide future programmatic planning and inform decision makers during the Agencys annual planning process.
