Abstract
This fact sheet provides a general overview of the needs survey process and provides introductory statistics as to the total need, American Indian and Alaska Native water system need, and the need to comply with the SDWA. The survey identifies current and future needs for the 20-year period from January 1995 through December 2014. Drinking water capital infrastructure needs are grouped into four general categories; source, treatment, storage, and transmission and distribution.
