| Abstract |
The publication provides performance standards for evaluation of the bacteriological laboratory procedures and equipment as required by the 1962 Edition of the Public Health Service Drinking Water Standards and is in conformance with the 12th Edition of Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wasterwater. To promote greater uniformity, the State laboratory survey officers should make every effort to obtain strict and complete adherence to standard requirements and to apply uniformly the recommended procedures in the Drinking Water Standards for decertification when there is failure to correct violations within a reasonable period of time. |
