Abstract | The purpose of this document is to provide guidance in meeting the requirements of enhanced coagulation and enhanced precipitative softening for systems treating surface waters, or ground waters under the influence of surface waters, using conventional treatment or precipitative softening. This manual is directed towards a target audience that encompasses parties that will be assisting in the implementation of these treatment techniques; for example, water treatment plant operators, utility managers and engineers, and consulting engineers. |
