Abstract

The cooperative State-Federal report for the Northwestern Lahontan Basin and the comprehensive plan it contains for the control of water pollution in the basin were developed by the California and Nevada water pollution control agencies and the Public Health Service. The legislative basis for this joint undertaking is briefly summarized. These data, including information obtained from field studies, were used to prepare a comprehensive plan for control of water pollution.
