Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the need for and value of storage for water quality control in Connoquenessing Creek and the lower portion of the Beaver River downstream from Connoquenessing Creek. In addition to the two reservoir sites originally proposed, the Corps of Engineers considered a site which is located on Thorn Creek, a tributary to Connoquenessing Creek. All three sites have the potential of providing limited amounts of storage for water quality control purposes. Pertinent data related to the three sites are presented.
