Abstract

The Illinois Water Quality Report, 1994-1995 was prepared by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Illinois EPA) and is intended to satisfy reporting requirements under Section 305(b) of the Federal Clean Water Act (CWA). This report provides an assessment of the water quality conditions of the State's surface and groundwater resources. In addition to characterizing statewide water quality conditions, this summary report is supplemented with watershed specific fact sheets addressing general water quality conditions on a more localized level.
