| Abstract |
The report very briefly summarizes a program to provide for continuous determination of the quality of the nation's waters. It is to establish base lines for measuring progress in water quality improvement and for detecting early deterioration of the water resources, and it can provide data useful in selection of sites for municipal and industrial water use, and for other legitimate purposes. |
