Abstract | During the week of February 23, 1970, representatives of the Water Quality Office visited the Rocky Flats Plant of the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). The purpose of the visit was to obtain information on liquid radioactive waste management practices at the facility and the environmental surveillance activities in the plant environs. The report presents the findings of the February investigation. The discussion of the environmental levels of plutonium is limited to soil, water, and bottom sediment. |
