| Abstract |
The purpose of the manual is to present a procedure for the identification of illicit connections into storm drainage systems. The manual takes two perspectives: (1) that of evaluating which industrial facility discharges non-storm water to a separate storm sewer system serving multiple facilities; and (2) that of evaluating a targeted facility for non-storm discharges to separate storm sewers. The goal to ensure that storm drainage systems do not receive non-storm water or other non-permitted discharges. The intended use for the manual is by regulatory or industrial personnel. |
