Abstract
The purpose of the conference is to bring together representatives of the State water pollution control agency, the United States Department of the Interior, and other interested parties to review the existing situation in Penobscot River, Maine, the progress which has been made, to lay a basis for future action by all parties concerned, and to give the State, localities, and industries an opportunity to take any indicated remedial action under State and local law.
