The report is an effort to document water quality conditions existing today as related to fish and wildlife resources of the Illinois River Basin. Topics covered in the report include the past and present distribution of more important fish and wildlife species, causes of the deterioration and loss of aquatic habitat, and principal management efforts aimed toward preserving and restoring that habitat.
