Abstract
The State of Michigan participated in the International Joint Commission's Upper Lakes Reference Group (IJC-ULRG Work Group C) study of Lake Huron and Lake Superior tributaries. During a two year period, thirty-three of the major tributaries to Lakes Superior and Huron were sampled. This sampling program was designed to provide tributary water quality and constituent loading data to the ULRG as part of their study of these two lakes. The purpose of this report is to describe Michigan's activities in this project and to summarize the resultant data and constituent loadings. A listing of the parameters sampled and their related frequency is given.
