| Abstract | This manual, Part Two is one of a series of three Corps of Engineers Design Manuals on wastewater system. It was written to provide design guidance for the Corps of Engineers Civil Works recreation wastewater systems to assure that these facilities are (1) constructed to meet federal and state environmental regulations; (2) are cost effective; and (3) utilize current wastewater collection and treatment technology. The manual will be helpful to engineers responsible for the design, operation and maintenance and management of small (one million gallons per day or less) wastewater systems. |
