| Abstract |
The site name is Operable Unit (OU) 2, Potential source of contamination (PSC) 42 (wastewater treatment plant effluent polishing pond) located at the Navel Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida. The preferred interim action for source control at PSC 42 is Alternative 3, developed and evaluated in the Focused Remedial Investigation and Focused Feasibility Study (FRI/FFS) for PSCs 3 and 42 at OU 2. Alternative 3 proposes stabilizing the pond sludge and the standing pond water in situ. |
