Abstract |
The scope of the study was to assess the present and potential state problem and to delineate specific problem areas, present and future, through a study of population distribution and trends, geography and topography, meteorology and climatology, and existing and potential sources of pollution. In addition, a determination was made of available resources in the State for research and investigation in air pollution problems. The sources of pollution which are considered include transportation, domestic activities, agricultural practices, industrial activities, refuse disposal, out-of-state sources, and natural sources.
