| Abstract | The paper covers the three principal areas of a chlorinated hydrocarbon waste-disposal system for a typical VCM facility. These will be the incinerator, the energy-recovery system, and the byproduct-recovery system. Throughout the discussion, please note that the overall efficiency of the energy and byproduct-recovery systems is dependent on the optimization of the primary combustor (incineration system). |
