| Abstract |
This decision document sets forth the basis for the determination to issue Explanation of Significant Differences (ESD) for the Coakley Landfill Superfund Site in North Hampton and Greenland, New Hampshire. The landfill gas management component of the selected remedy described in the ROD issued June 20, 1990 (PB91-921401), has been modified. EPA has concluded that a passive landfill gas collection and venting system will prevent off-site, sub-surface migration of landfill gases and be protective of human health and the environment, while saving significant costs. |
