An overall survey of the health implications of the problems of solid waste handling in metropolitan areas is presented for use by the Surgeon General's Advisory Committee on Urban Health Affairs. Reasearch grants awarded by the Public Health Service for a variety of projects in the field of solid wastes are listed. |
