The paper discusses tests that looked at three combustion scenarios--steady-state, upset, and batch feed--using an in situ tunable diode laser (TDL) system sampling across the flow of EPA's pilot-scale rotary kiln incinerator simulator (RKIS) facility simultaneously at two locations and a TDL sampling through an extractive sample cell.
