| Abstract | The studies performed by CITEPA have been directed primarily toward the development and standardization of methods of measurement, the best means of prevention, the dispersion of pollutants and their contents in the ambient air, and collection, processing and distribution of French and foreign information. These studies have been financed by energy distributors and by the unions of various industries, with the participation of the Ministry of Industrial and Scientific Development and the Ministry for Protection of Nature and the Environment. The basis of all French regulation of industries is the Law of 1917. |
