| Abstract |
In accordance with API policy, I am enclosing seven drafts final reports from Elars Bioresearch Laboratories on acute toxicity tests with the following lubricating oil base stocks: API Sample 78-9 - 70 SUS/100 deg F Paraffinic Oil; API Sample 78-10 - 150 SUS/100 deg F Paraffinic Oil; API Sample 79-3 - 350 SUS/100 deg F Paraffinic Oil; API Sample 79-4 - 550 SUS/100 deg F Paraffinic Oil; API Sample 79-5 - 800 SUS/100 deg F Paraffinic Oil; API Sample 78-5 - 150 SUS/100 deg F Naphthenic Oil; and API Sample 79-1 - 90 SUS/210 deg F (2000 SUS/ 100 deg F) Naphthenic Oil. We have not yet had an opportunity to conduct a detailed review or evaluation of the reports. Consequently, any interpretation or evaluation of reports must be viewed as tentative at this time. |
