Abstract
The purpose of the report is to present the available knowledge on temperature requirements and tolerances of anadromous fish in the Columbia River. The information and data presented in this report are limited to conditions and species found in the main stem Columbia River in those areas remaining accessible to anadromous fish. The material includes information from the literature and from the files of Northwest fisheries agencies, with particular emphasis on new knowledge developed by the research studies conducted as part of the Columbia River Thermal Effects Study (CRTES).
