Abstract | This report discusses the formation of N-Nitroso compounds, the degradation of N-Nitroso compounds, the analysis of N-Nitroso compounds and their distribution in the ecosystem. Topics included are systhesis of nitrosamines with nitrite, catalytic nitrosation, formation of N-Nitroso compounds in vivo and by bacteria, nitrosamine reactions and the occurrence of N-Nitroso compounds and their precursors in the environment. |
