These interim guidelines were prepared by the Department of the Interior agencies in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and those parts of Montana and Wyoming west of the Continental Divide), to assist in evaluating the effects of thermal power plant site selection upon the aquatic and terrestrial environment within the scope of the Department's responsibilities.
