Abstract |
The report gives results of a preliminary pilot-scale investigation to determine the techno-economic feasibility of applying a fabric filter dust collector to coal-fired industrial boilers. The pilot facility, on a slipstream of a 60,000 lb/hr boiler, was capable of handling 11,000 acfm at an air-to-cloth ratio (A/C) of 6/1. Filter media evaluated include Nomex felt, Teflon woven, Teflon felt, and Gore-Tex laminate. |
