Abstract |
Please be advised that Toms River Chemical Corporation received the following test results which may support the conclusion that one or more of the specific components in Disperse Blue 7 (Disperse Turquoise ALF Granules and Disperse Turquoise LF2G) is a possible mutagen: (1) The mutagenic evaluation of samples of Disperse Turquoise ALF and LF2G Granules in which they were mutagenic in one or more of the Salmonella strains(s) TA-98, TA-1535, and TA-1537 under the conditions of the evaluations; (2) Mouse lymphoma assay in which a sample of Disperse Turquoise ALF Granules was evaluated as inducing forward point mutatior at the TK locus in L5178Y mouse lymphoma cells under the conditions of this assay. Disperse Turquoise ALF Granules are also contained in one other dye mixture, Cibacet Blue CRS, manufactured by Toms River Chemical Corporation. |
