Abstract
The decision document presents the amendment to the selected remedial action for the 62nd Street Site, in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida. The purpose of the document is to amend the selected remedy at the Site. The original Record of Decision (ROD) was signed on June 27, 1990 (PB91-921507), and previously modified by the Explanation of Significant Differences (ESD) which became effective on October 7, 1991. After collecting quarterly samples for 24 months, the off-site groundwater has been documented to be consistently below the cleanup criteria for groundwater. Based on the facts concerning the groundwater quality of Site, EPA modifies the selected remedy to eliminate the Surficial Aquifer Groundwater Extraction and Treatment component of the remedy.
