Abstract |
The planning, design, and operation of land-based wastewater management systems can be dependent on knowledge of the amount of precipitation which falls during the operating season. This is particularly true for those cases where soils with low permeability limit the hydraulic load. Precipitation probabilities for selected periods at 93 weather stations have been compiled to assist planners, designers, and others having a need for this type of information. The 93 stations selected represent a cross section of the differing precipitation patterns across the United States. |
