The assessment of the general condition of the impoundments is based upon avaiable data and visual observations. Detailed investigations and analyses involving topographic mapping, subsurface investigations, testing and detailed computational evaluations are beyond the scope of this report. In reviewing this report, it should be realized that the reported condition of the impoundments is based on observations of Field conditions at the time of assessment along with data made available to the assessment team. Incase where an impoundments is based on servations of field conditions at the time of assessment, along with data made avaiable to the assessment team. In cases where an impoundment may have been lowered or drained prior to the assessment, such actionkl whilte improving the stability and fafety of the impoundment, removes the normal load on the strucutre and may obscrue certain conditions, which might otherwise be detectable if inspected under the normal operating environment of the structure.
