| Abstract |
The report is the result of an EPA, Office of Radiation Programs study to evaluate sampling and measurement procedures for determining average radon and radon decay product concentrations in houses. The report presents the study results and enough information to allow a reader to use and analyze the data. The study plan is described, including the roles of key participants and factors in the study's design. Quality assurance issues, including the calibration of the instruments, their precision, and intercomparisons among laboratories participating in the study are discussed. |
