Abstract
In accordance with requirements of the Clean Air Act and EPA Regulations for state implementation plans (SIP's), ambient air quality data resulting from air monitoring operations of state, local, and federal networks must be reported each calendar quarter to the Environmental Protection Agency. This is a summary of all data submitted for the first quarter for pollutants that currently have national ambient air quality standards. They are particulate matter, sulfur oxides, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, photochemical oxidants, and hydrocarbons. Each section addresses one of the 'six' pollutants and shows the collection and analysis technique represented.
