Abstract
Polychlorinated bidenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDDs/PCDFs) are among the pollutants that are of concern to EPA at such sites. This Statement of Work (SOW) provides a technical and contractual framework for laboratories to apply EPA analytical methods to the analysis of PCDDs/PCDFs in environmental samples. The SOW provides not only the analytical methods to be applied, but also the specific technical and contractual requirements by which EPA will evaluate the data. The SOW provides an analytical method for the isolation, detection and quantitative measurement of PCDDs and PCDFs in water, soil, fly ash, and chemical waste samples such as oil, sludge, and stillbottoms.
