Abstract
A laboratory investigation into foam separation processes led to largely negative results for most pollutants. However, effective removal of lignin, an important waste constituent of Kraft process paper mills, was achieved by means of the ion floatation process. Removal was from 90 to 98% effective (on a color basis) depending on conditions. (Author)
