Abstract |
This is a gas chromatographic (GC) method applicable to the determination of selected pesticides in municipal and industrial discharges as provided under 40CFR 136.1. A sample is solvent extracted with methylene chloride using a separatory funnel. The extract is exchanged to hexane during concentration. GC conditions are described which permit measurement with an electron capture detector. The compounds included in the method scope are: benfluralin; ethalfluralin; isopropalin; profluralin; and trifluralin. |
