Abstract
The background document presents waste-specific information on the number and locations of facilities that may be affected by the land disposal restrictions for K026, the processes generating this waste, the waste characterization data, the technologies used to treat the waste (or similar wastes, if any), and the treatment performance data on which the proposed treatment standards are based. The document also explains how EPA determines BDAT, selects constituents to be regulated, and calculates treatment standards.
