| Abstract | The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency applied for, received, and implemented a Lake Water Quality Assessment grant program from 1989-1991. Grant monies from USEPA Region V, with equal funding provided by the Agency, were utilized to improve the quantity and quality of lake information reported in the 1990 and 1992 cycle Section 305(b) (of the Clean Water Act) reports. The report summarizes the water quality and sediment data collected and assessments for 25 southern Illinois lakes. |
