Abstract |
The project involved the evaluation of solidification/stabilization technology as a BDAT for contaminated soil. Three binding agents were used on four different synthetically contaminated soils. Performance evaluation data included unconfined compressive strength (UCS) and the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) leaching test. Results indicated that solidification/stabilization techniques were effective in reducing the leachable metals of the contaminated soils. |
