Abstract
This report presents the findings of a research study on the long-term effects of applying treated domestic wastewater to an infiltration site at Milton, Wisconsin. On the test site a high-rate rapid infiltration method, applying effluent at an estimated rate of 244 m (800 ft) per year, had been used for about 20 years. Water and soil samples from this site were compared with similar samples from an upstream control area not receiving wastewater application.
