Abstract
The Environmental Information Management System (EIMS) is a repository of knowledge about environmental projects, data, tools, and documents that is accessed with standard web browsers. Developed within the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Research and Development (ORD), EIMS places a virtual library catalog on the desktop of EPA staff and others with Internet access. Users can search within EIMS topically to find environmental information of interest. This user Guide and Data Administration Guidelines (UGDAG) document presents the structure, content, and operating procedures to assist a wide range of users in effectively employing the capabilities of EIMS.
