Abstract
FMC Corporation's test article FMC 87059 (phosphorodithioic acid, 0, 0-diethyl ester, sodium salt) was received on August 26, 1985 for testing in the Salmonella/Mammalian-Microsome Mutagenicity Assay. Five tester strains, TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA1537 and TA1538, both with and without metabolic activation by Aroclor induced rat liver microsomes were used to determine the mutagenic potential of the test article. The results of the Samonella/Mammalian-Microsome Mutagenicity Assay indicate that under the conditions of this study, FMC 87059 (phosphorodithioic acid, 0,0-diethyl ester, sodium salt) did not cause a positive response in any of the tester strains with or without metabolic activation by Aroclor induced rat liver microsomes.
