Abstract
The South Platte River Basin was selected as a region for a case study of the regional reconnaissance method since it illustrates many of the questions facing the practitioner in understanding such a study. Focus was on population trends, an economic activities inventory concentrating on employment and production trends, and an income analysis. This volume provides statistics and tabular data on production trends by industry, including agriculture, mining, manufacturing, trade, and services.
