Abstract
The report identifies and classifies types of stationary fuel-burning equipment which can produce air pollutant emissions and obtains more detailed information on two types of such equipment, namely, gas turbines and kilns. Included in the report is a comprehensive list of stationary combustion equipment and a classification of the various types and subtypes according to such factors as fuels burned, unit size, processes and industries in which used, products for which applied, manufacturers of the equipment, and other appropriate elements. Included in the analysis is a discussion of the relative importance of the processes as sources of NO(x) emissions and other pollutants produced.
