Abstract

The report evaluates and summarizes present knowledge of current and potential techniques for reducing water losses from irrigation projects in the 17 Western States. Where possible the evaluation is on a regional basis in harmony with the aims of the overall report of the Senate select committee. The report provides background for decisions on future research and technical study that will assist in solving the problems of expanding water demand.
