Abstract
The document presents the selected interim remedial action for the TNX Area Groundwater Operable Unit at the Savannah River Site (SRS). The NTX Area groundwater and the source areas contributing to contamination of the groundwater are in various stages of the CERCLA investigation and remedy selection process. This groundwater interim action will serve to mitigate the further migration of the groundwater plume hotspot while also removing contaminants from the groundwater. Following investigation and remedy selection for the source units in the TNX Area, the groundwater unit will be reassessed and appropriate final remedial alternatives will be developed.
