Abstract
The Explanation of Significant Differences (ESD) describes changes to the remedy that were implemented at OU IV/V. The ESD explains (1) how the remedy was modified to address the discovery of much larger volumes of contaminated soils than were anticipated at the time of the ROD, and (2) why certain contaminated soils were left in place based on supplemental standards and how these soils will be managed.
