| Abstract | This volume presents more detailed information for some of the projects proposed and summarized in Chapter 6 of Volume I. The projects described herein include cementation processes, both inorganic and organic, sulfur sequestering, arsenic removal from soil, recovery of alumina from clay and sulfur oxide scrubbing wastes, characterization of incineration parameters for the safe disposal of pesticides, new chemical concepts for use of waste pesticides, and isolation of mercury and other heavy metals from dilute waste streams. |
